The SEBE Foundation College Student Game Day Experience is the flagship workforce development platform of the Sports, Entertainment & Business Experience (SEBE) Foundation.
Using major sporting events as the front door, the program connects college students with the people, organizations, and industries shaping the future of sports, business, media, technology, entertainment, healthcare, finance, and the creator economy.
Hosted in professional sports markets across the United States and internationally, each immersive multi-day experience brings together students, employers, executives, universities, sports organizations, and corporate partners to create meaningful pathways from education to workforce participation.
We call these experiences SEBE Workforce Development Activations because they do more than provide access—they activate leadership, expand professional networks, strengthen financial capability, and prepare the next generation of workforce talent.
Each activation is intentionally designed to help students discover career opportunities, develop real-world skills, build relationships with industry leaders, and gain the confidence to succeed in an increasingly connected global economy.

College student game day experience
Three Days. One transformational workforce experience.
Day 1 | Corporate Leadership Experience
Students engage with executives inside leading corporations, learning how business, innovation, marketing, finance, technology, and leadership intersect with the sports industry.
Day 2 | Leadership & Financial Capability
Participants strengthen workforce readiness through professional development, executive mentorship, financial capability training, and career planning designed to support long-term success.
Day 3 | Professional Sports Immersion
Students experience the business of sports from the inside—connecting with team executives, league professionals, media partners, and industry leaders while exploring careers that power game day beyond the field.

Meet The Founder
Avis Roper
Avis Roper is a veteran communications executive with nearly three decades of experience leading public relations, crisis management, and strategic planning efforts across the sports and media industries. His career spans some of the most high-profile environments in professional football, including leadership roles with the NFL, FOX Sports, the Indianapolis Colts, the New York Giants, the St. Louis Rams, and the Carolina Panthers.
At the NFL, Avis played a strategic role in shaping communications for Football Development and Football Operations, specifically amplifying Flag Football and NFL Career Tours. During his time at FOX Sports, he led public relations strategy for Super Bowl LIV, working closely with Pro Football Hall of Fame talent. He also served as PR Director for the Colts for seven years and spent 13 years with the Giants, contributing significantly to their communications success.
Avis is known for crafting impactful messaging and leading communication strategies in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. His extensive background gives him a unique perspective on the intersection of media, sports, and business.
He recently launched Sports Bridge Consulting Agency, a solutions-focused firm that connects sports and business through strategic consulting, partnership development, and storytelling. The agency’s mission is to close the gap between industries—building valuable partnerships that drive growth, opportunity, and long-term success for athletes, organizations, and brands.
Building on that vision, Avis also founded The SEBE Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to powering the College Student Game Day Experience—an innovative program that uses major sporting events as platforms to expose diverse college students to careers, mentorship, and financial education. Through immersive experiences and strategic partnerships, the Foundation bridges the gap between sports, education, and professional development, preparing the next generation of leaders for success both on and off the field.
