Empowering the Next Generation of Sports & Business Leaders
The SEBE Foundation College Student Game Day Experience is a national workforce development initiative designed to expose college students to career pathways within the sports industry and its surrounding business ecosystem.
Through immersive multi-day programs hosted in NFL markets nationwide, students gain firsthand exposure to professional environments, industry mentorship, and financial literacy training.
We call these experiences SEBE Workforce Development Activations.
Each activation provides structured learning designed to prepare students for careers across sports, media, marketing, business operations, and technology.
Three Transformative Days. Lifelong Impact.
Day 1 | Corporate Immersion
Students visit the headquarters of leading companies across industries such as finance, technology, hospitality, and sports business. They engage directly with executives and learn how major organizations operate behind the scenes.
Day 2 | Financial Literacy & Workforce Development
Students participate in workshops focused on financial literacy, career preparation, and professional development — equipping them with tools to build long-term stability and confidence.
Day 3 | NFL Game Day Experience
Students receive exclusive behind-the-scenes access to a professional or college game environment, including stadium tours, conversations with team executives and alumni, and exposure to careers in event operations, media, marketing, partnerships and production.

Meet The Founder
Avis Roper
Avis Roper is a veteran communications executive with nearly three decades of experience leading public relations, crisis management, and strategic planning efforts across the sports and media industries. His career spans some of the most high-profile environments in professional football, including leadership roles with the NFL, FOX Sports, the Indianapolis Colts, the New York Giants, the St. Louis Rams, and the Carolina Panthers.
At the NFL, Avis played a strategic role in shaping communications for Football Development and Football Operations, specifically amplifying Flag Football and NFL Career Tours. During his time at FOX Sports, he led public relations strategy for Super Bowl LIV, working closely with Pro Football Hall of Fame talent. He also served as PR Director for the Colts for seven years and spent 13 years with the Giants, contributing significantly to their communications success.
Avis is known for crafting impactful messaging and leading communication strategies in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. His extensive background gives him a unique perspective on the intersection of media, sports, and business.
He recently launched Sports Bridge Consulting Agency, a solutions-focused firm that connects sports and business through strategic consulting, partnership development, and storytelling. The agency’s mission is to close the gap between industries—building valuable partnerships that drive growth, opportunity, and long-term success for athletes, organizations, and brands.
Building on that vision, Avis also founded The SEBE Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to powering the College Student Game Day Experience—an innovative program that uses major sporting events as platforms to expose diverse college students to careers, mentorship, and financial education. Through immersive experiences and strategic partnerships, the Foundation bridges the gap between sports, education, and professional development, preparing the next generation of leaders for success both on and off the field.
